Urban Redevelopment Authority unveils concept for Greater Southern Waterfront
The Urban Redevelopment Authority (URA) announced the opening of the Draft Master Plan 2013 exhibition today. The key focus of the Draft Master Plan 2013 is to build townships for all ages that are green, healthy, connected, strong in community interaction and spirit, and to bring quality jobs closer to home.
“Power-Up Pasir Panjang”, a call for public ideas to envision future possibilities for this unique site and to celebrate its distinctive heritage, was held from 30th April 2019 – 25th June 2019. Useful ideas and concepts will be distilled into design principles and the brief for the subsequent use of the power district.

Keppel Club Site to be Redeveloped
With the expiry of Keppel Club's lease, the 48Ha site will be redeveloped into a new residential precinct with around 9,000 public and private housing units where future residents will enjoy convenient access to the waterfront, nature and two nearby MRT stations.
Skidmore, Owings & Merrill unveil design for Singapore's Tallest Skyscraper
The 63-storey mixed-use skyscraper, 8 Shenton Way, will anchor the intersection of Singapore’s Central Business District and Marina Bay, the historic Tanjong Pagar neighborhood, and the emerging Greater Southern Waterfront. Drawing inspiration from bamboo forests, creating an indoor-outdoor vertical community with a mixed-use programing; public spaces, offices, retail, hotel, and the luxury residences aptly named Skywaters Residences.
